Smooth Sailing Professional Coaching has teamed up with Optimal U to present a series of half-day workshops for Small Business owners and employees. These workshops use coaching techniques to bring some of the benefits of individual coaching to a larger group of people.
Most business people are experts in their own field of endeavor and as coaches we are experts in human dynamics and emotional intelligence. Based on research with hundreds of top executives at fifteen global companies, Daniel Goldman, author of Working with Emotional Intelligence, reports that “on average close to 90 percent of [the star leaders] success was attributable to emotional intelligence”. We help employers begin to reach that 90% success rating from their employees.
We have encountered common issues that both employees and employers face on a daily basis. We have created a series of workshops that is designed to create an environment where people look forward to coming to work each day. These workshops are interactive and provide practical and concrete tools and processes that can be implemented in the workplace. The workshops provide a place to practice using these tools, so that when employees return to the workplace they are able to use them immediately.
